Dyanthe is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. After receiving her degree in Mathematics and Women's Studies from the University of Michigan, she moved to San Francisco, California. Dyanthe worked in health education for several years before becoming a classroom teacher. For the past 8 years, she has taught in art magnet schools in Berkeley and San Francisco. When not teaching, Dyanthe enjoys running, doing crossword puzzles, reading, exploring the city she now calls home, and watching the Yankees.
