Aurea Calderon is an Educational Assistant (Paraprofessional) for Elizabeth’s Pre-K & Kinergarten class at the Earth School. She came from a small town in Puerto Rico (Yabucoa). She used to travel to school on a pony from first through sixth grades. She enjoys reading different books, magazines and anything educational. She also enjoys plays, fiction and drama. She is number 9 in a family of 11 children. Aurea’s work with her own child with special needs has given her both great understanding and skill working with all kinds of children.
