Shonelle Cooper-Caplan was born and raised in New York City and she currently resides in the culturally rich area of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Shonelle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Baruch College and a Master’s Degree in Education from Hunter College. She has taught Pre-Kindergarten for the past six years and she has loved every minute of it! Shonelle’s classroom is one where open communication and respect (both for one’s self and for one’s community) are emphasized. Students are encouraged to gain knowledge by questioning their environment and by accomplishing tasks in a hands-on manner. Shonelle is organized, dedicated, and passionate about educating today’s youth.
